What is Insomia? Insomnia?
Insomnia or Insomia is a condition in which you have trouble falling or staying asleep. Some people with insomnia may fall asleep easily but wake up too soon. Other people may have the opposite problem, or they have trouble with both falling asleep and staying asleep. The end result is poor-quality sleep that doesn’t leave you feeling refreshed when you wake up.
Insomnia is a sleep disorder in which a person experiences poor sleep or has trouble sleeping. Insomnia can involve:
* Difficulty falling asleep
* Difficulty staying asleep (that is, waking up many times during the night), without necessarily having had any difficulty falling asleep
* Waking up too early in the morning
* Not feeling refreshed after a night’s sleep
Types of Insomnia
As i searched the net, there are two types of insomnia. Secondary insomnia is the most common. More than 4 out of 5 people with insomnia are believed to have secondary insomnia. Secondary means that the insomnia is a symptom or a side-effect of some other problem. Some of the problems that can cause secondary insomnia include:
- Certain illnesses, such as some heart and lung diseases
- Pain, anxiety, and depression
- Medicines that delay or disrupt sleep as a side-effect
- Caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, and other substances that affect sleep
- Another sleep disorder, such as restless legs syndrome; a poor sleep environment; or a change in sleep routine
Not getting enough sleep can make your life miserable. As a sufferer of insomnia, I know what it’s like to go for days with little to no sleep. As exhausted as you feel, as soon as you lay down in bed your brain suddenly clicks into the ‘on’ position, and you find yourself racing over thoughts and concerns you didn’t even know you had.
Cure for Insomnia or Insomia
I don’t know YET! I’m still suffering for it. I believed I have Secondary Insomnia because of my Anxiety. I bought a Camomile tea for relaxation and take it with a Banana but it makes me groggy one night and felt like im going crazy. So i stopped taking it with Banana. I will update this once my sleep back to normal.
